Investments, L.L.C., d/b/a The Castaways on the River (the “Sponsor”) and otherwise be bound by and follow these Rules, and any applicable Facebook terms and conditions, to be eligible to receive a prize in connection with any Contest.

If your photo is selected, we will reach out to you in a Private Message with information on how to redeem your Castaways on the River t-shirt, valued at $25.

Entries must:

• Be your own original work.
• Not be previously published or submitted in connection with any other promotion.
• Be in keeping with Castaways on the River’s image.
• Not be offensive or inappropriate, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
• Not defame or invade the publicity rights or privacy of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any personal, contractual, or property right of any person or entity, including without limitation Castaways on the River.
• Not contain images of any other person(s) or intellectual property of any other party.
• Any Entry that is not in compliance with these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, illegible or misdirected entries, or entries that were not received because of some technical or mechanical malfunction.

ELIGIBILITY

Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Employees of Castaways on the River are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. By participating in the Contest, you acknowledge that the Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Further, you agree to release and discharge Sponsor and Facebook from and against any and all claims, demands, causes of action and damages of any and all nature arising out of or in any way related to the Contest. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this Contest shall be directed to Sponsor and not to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

There is no limit to the number of submissions per person, however the same person cannot receive multiple prizes.

DETERMINATION OF WINNERS

All eligible Entries will be reviewed and judged equally by a panel of judges chosen by Sponsor in its sole discretion, based on the factors of creativity, originality, and consistency with the Castaways on the River brand image. All three factors will be considered equally. The winner will be the entry with the overall highest score.  In the unlikely event of a tie, the winner will be the entry with the highest “consistency with the Castaways on the River brand image.”

PRIZE

Winners will receive one (1) Castaways on the River t-shirt, a $25 value.  In case of unavailability of any prize, sponsor reserves right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Winner acknowledges that neither Sponsor nor its directors, employees, or agents have made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

By submitting an entry, you acknowledge and agree that your entry may be used by the Sponsor in marketing materials, including but not limited to, posts on this blog, Facebook, Twitter,  and  Instagram.

ENTRIES POSTED TO THE WEBSITE WERE NOT EDITED BY SPONSOR AND ARE THE VIEWS/OPINIONS OF THE INDIVIDUAL ENTRANT AND DO NOT REFLECT THE VIEWS OF SPONSOR IN ANY MANNER.
